I had the pleasure of dealing with Bryce at Performance Marine about five or six months ago. He had not long bought the business and solved my problem in literally a few weeks. I am overseas and needed to sell my boat. Several other boat outfits had had it on their yards for a long time, well what I thought was a long time with absolutely no success or what seemed not even a little effort. I spoke with Bryce, we talked about what I needed and what he needed and agreed on the spot. Absolutely true to his word the transaction happened exactly as discussed and in weeks not months. Bryce is great to work with and keeps things really simple. No fuss just got on with the job. If I ever come back to NZ I will certainly be seeing him for a boat. I felt like I could trust him which was a big thing for me living in another country now. His and his collegues knowledge and experience in the industry is second to none and they look like they can pretty much look after all ones boating needs. If you need to sell a boat give them a call. If you need to buy or get a boat serviced have a chat with Bryce before you decide who you are going to use.Seriously worth the time, I think you wlll be as happy as I am if you choose these guys.

I was really looking forward to this one from the road everything looks great surround by preditor proof fencing, animals wandering around. However I was very surprised at the lack of maintenance and feed. Most areas could do with a really good cleaning, you expect smell with an animal park you dont expect rubbish. The native pigeon enclosuer comes complete with tools left lying around and a towel shrouded pram covered in bird excrement , If there was a child in there it must now be school age The highland cattle were extremely emaciated and lethargic I just wanted to cry it was so pitifull. The kune kune pigs fair a little better but were not what you would call well fed. The female Nubian goat was in a small enclosuer with no suitable feed and dirty water trough. One goose tried to climb a fence to beg for food. We did try to procure supplies from a vending machine which gobbled our dollar coin and gave nothing. Just as well as the glass window showed that the food was contaminated with rat feaces, on further inspection so was the recieving area of the machine. We did see a couple of rats wandering around over by the rabbit and guinea pig cages they then went into well worn tunnels under the predator not proof fence. We took a wander around the turtle pond approx 4 metres across which housed 28 turtles hmmmmmmmmmmmm maybe a few too many for that area. The lady on duty then did what seemed to be a lunch time feeddisplay distributing grain and bread to the poultry. All in all a very poor show the toilets are a health hazard and dont attempt the road in wet weather unless its four wheel drive. I could put up with the dirt and the smell but mall nurished animals I left depressed and near tears. Its Saterday and SPCA is unattended but I will be ringing on Tuesday morning after the long weekend

Be very careful before you buy any car etc off this company.we brought a ute in Nov and drove it on the sunday back to Dunedin, by the wednesday the clutch had gone in it, yes its a second hand car and you know you are going to get problems but not after 4 days,we rung planet and they agreed to pay the excess on the warrenty, we rung the warrenty company but they had no record of our warrenty, rung planet back and got that sorted only to find out it wasnt covered after talking to Planet again they agreed to pay and said they would contact us with a repairer we didnt hear from them so rung them again and told them where we were putting the ute to be fixed after it was fixed the repairer rung the car sales to give them the price only to be told they were not paying for it, we rung planet and got a mouth full of abuse from the foul mouth owners.to cut along story short we have had the consumers contact them but they have been ignored they suggested we go to the MTA but due to a recent terminal illness in the family we dont have the time ,money or patience to do this but we dont want to see anybody else have the same trouble we have had from these people and will be happy if even one person thinks twice before buying from them

Its not like me at all to do something like this, I usually only share an experience if its bad, but this time I just had to say something and after speaking with mates they recommend I put my praises on WOMF, so here is my little story.I hate winter Its cold, its wet and I do my bet to avoid it hibernating with a heater in my nice warm house, my lovely other half has other ideas and this winter he was CONVINCED to get me to enjoy a side of winter Id never seen the skiing scene. I wasnt looking forward to it and hubby was over enthusiastic which didnt help my protests WE WERE GOING. Anyway he wisked us away to mt hutt ski field for a long weekend and surprisingly it went well, but the HIGHLIGHT of this weekend away was the night we spent in Tekapo, and the amazing meal we had at Bluewater Resort, it took away my winter blues The meal was cooked to perfection and the dessert was AMAZING, they must have some kind of merlin for a chef because it really was magic, the only thing that really let the place down was the waitress, she seemed like she would rather be somewhere else sour wee thing.Thats my praises sung, I really hope whoever reads this takes my advice and goes to have a meal here, or even stay the night at the resort, we stayed somewhere else, and just went to the restaurant for a treat but Im sure the whole package would be an awesome treat for some hard working mum or wife hint hint genlemen. All in all a wonderful dining experience and will be very hard to top, well done Bluewater
